AbSciCon Hotel Room Block - Deadline Feb 17th

Coming to AbSciCon 2006? Register and make your hotel reservations now. Hotel room blocks reserved for the conference will be released February 17, 2006. The list of hotels with contact information are located on the meeting website. AbSciCon is scheduled for the same week as the Cherry Blossom festival. There are NO extra rooms available in the area during this time.

One of the suggested hotels is the Hotel Washington. While not as swanky as some of the others on the list, the Hotel Washington boasts a great roof top lounge with sweeping views of the city. It is a favorite watering hole for Washingtonians especially on a Friday after work. AND it is right across the street from the conference venue, the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center.

Need to save on lodging expenses for AbSciCon 2006?

If you are interested in sharing a room with another conference attendee, please send the following information to Shirley Berthold at sberthold@mail.arc.nasa.gov by February 26, 2006:

Full Name:
Affiliation:
Needed Lodging Dates:
Emergency Contact Name/Number:
Roommate Preference: (Unless specifically requested by each party, no co-ed rooms will be assigned)

Rooms will be arranged at the Hotel Washington, located across the street from the Ronald Reagan Building.

Hotel availability in the Washington, D.C. area is limited and fills quickly. The hotels below have rooms available at the rates listed on a first come, first serve basis. Please make sure you tell them there is a block of rooms available under "Astrobiology Science Conference."
