Mark Claire is a graduate student at the University of Washington.
His research focuses on the composition and evolution of planetary atmospheres.
He uses computer modeling to understand the nature of the evolution of atmospheric oxygen with emphasis on the atmospheric structure during an "oxic transition", and the detectability of biosignatures in the atmospheres of extra-solar Earth-like planets.
